Scheduled - Secure Reader: Authentication Update — August 7, 2026 at 8PM EST

Virtru is releasing an update to Secure Reader authentication. There is no downtime, but some recipients may experience a login loop on their next access after the release.

Why this happens: Browsers may have a cached copy of the old login page. Most browsers will refresh this automatically within a few hours. After this release, future Secure Reader updates will not carry this risk.

If you hit a login loop: Clear your browser cache. Users who encounter the issue will also see an on-screen message with these instructions.
